“to bring the images back into the community - and to be the sort of facilitator for that, i’m going to be really proud”
Heidi Alexander
When Heidi Alexander spent an impromptu weekend in Stockport in the late 70’s, little did she know that over forty years later, her work would find new meaning.
Clearing cupboards during lockdown, three undeveloped rolls of film sparked curiosity in Heidi, and a journey to track down some of the many faces captured all those years ago.
We were delighted to produce this trailer promoting Heidi’s book ‘The Stockport Collection - Portrait of A Community 1976-1977 and accompanying exhibition at renowned restaurant Where The Light Gets In.
